2009 Wickham Scholarship Award Jennifer Gaugler, chemical engineering major at Widener University receives the 2009 Gen John A. Wickham Scholarship on Oct 30, 2009.  She is pictured here with her professor, Dr,. Tom Twardowski (l) and AFCEA Liberty Bell Treasurer Mark Meaders.  Jennifer carries a 3.97 GPA and is active in community, choir, church, and student organization activities.


SCIENCE TEACHING TOOLS GRANT
Science Teaching Tools  - We will select one high school science teacher in the local community to receive a $1,000 grant. Teachers working in schools which are poorly supported and/or with economically disadvantaged students are considered first. The selection will be based on the teacher's skills, his/her potential to use the funds well and financial need.  Please use this document to apply for this grant.

We have money in our chapter to start a local scholarship, but we need help putting it together. Please contact scholarship@philly.afceachapter.org to help out.

We need help in:

1.  Setting up a local scholarship for graduating high school seniors. 

2.  High School Science Fair:  We are looking for people to help judge this effort on April 6th, 2005.

3.  High School Science Teaching Tools Grant Program: We need a coordinator to look after this program.

If you are willing to help in any of these endeavors, please let us know.
